David and his family are very close, probably due to the fact that he lives over a 1000 miles away from them. Parents Norm and Carol currently live in Hawaii, but hope to retire soon to the mainland to be closer to the family. David has one older brother Jon who lives in Minnesota with his new bride Missy and son Jacob.  Jon and Missy are expecting a baby girl in March and we can't wait to add another member to the family. The Haugen/Sutherland family is very close and try and get together as often as possible.
